I apologize for the lack of updates, but it has been a busy few weeks.
Firstly my computer went bust, so I’m stuck sharing and I can’t upload photos till I get home.
A couple weeks ago we went to Loreto Abby for the afternoon. It was a lovely town. Before we went to Loreto we stropped in an extremely small town. It was beautiful, on top of hill with fantastic views of the ocean and quaint homes. I took a ton of photographs in that town.
Last week we went to Roccomorice, which is the small town the man who started this program is from. We had been there previously on the parent trip. He took us to see a Christmas concert held in the church there. The music was beautiful and the had a choir that were opera singers and were fantastic. I really enjoyed the concert.
Along with those trip we’ve had a ton of work. Our last day of class was Saturday. I have two more assignments due this week, and two exams and then I am done school till February when I have to go back to Newman.
One more week left in Italy! Everyone is very sad to leave, but we are looking forward to being home. I’m excited to se everyone at Christmas!

The past few week shave been great here. We’ve just been in Atri, hanging out.
We’ve started to meet with an Italian class sometimes. They’re a year older. We go together for Remberence day, and we’ve visited each others classes. As well on Thursday we had a Semi-Formal Dance with them, which was a lot of fun.
Anyways, we’ve been getting a lot of work as we finish up the semester. I thin we have some trips in December.
Everyone is starting to think about home (mostly just dreaming of the food we’ve been missing)

Yesterday was our Halloween party! We made a maze in our study hall, and we had a DJ and we played some games. After we had gone through the maze we did sumo wrestling with pillows which was pretty hilarious. Following we did a game where we had to see which team could wrap their teacher in toilet paper faster. Lastly we did a dance off competition. Between every event there was a lot of dancing. The whole night was really quite fun!

So we had the parent trip this past week. It was a lot of fun. We met up with the parents in Tivoli on Saturday, and then went to a very special villa with beautiful fountains. On Sunday we went to Rome, we saw lots of cool things including the outside of the Coliseum, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Everything was awesome, I really enjoyed Rome. On Monday we travelled to Assisi and saw the Basilica of St. Francis. The town was lovely and after we travelled to Florence. Tueday was Florence. We first saw the Statue of David, as well as really nice churches. It was a beautiful city and we got some good shopping! Scarves and a small leather purse. Wednesday we were supposed to go to Venice, but it was raining so much that they decided to change it and go to Verona. Not going to Venice was disappointing but Verona was lovely. We got to see a very cool Amphitheatre and saw what they say was Juliet’s balcony from Romeo and Juliet. We then came back to Atri and showed the parents around. The parent was so much fun, and having mom and dad here was really fun. We All had a great time.
